Senor Taco is a new Mexican restaurant in Fort Myers near Page Field. They offer traditional Mexican cuisine in a quick bite setting.
Great for: group lunch/dinner, takeout, quick bite, workday lunch
We first tried Senor Taco at its original Bonita Springs location. When we saw they were taking over the old Nathan’s Hotdogs building in Fort Myers, we were stoked! They opened up in a small plaza right across from Page Field on 41. It’s the perfect location if you work in Fort Myers because it’s in the middle of everything.
We went there for a small group outing to celebrate a birthday and it was the perfect spot! The restaurant inside is LARGE and it has a lot of room if you had a larger party. The staff was also very friendly and our food came out in record time.
The inside of Senor Taco in Fort Myers has the coolest decor! When you walk in, the first thing you are likely going to see is the massive airplane hanging from the ceiling. The tables and chairs also look to be custom-made, with “Senor Taco” engraved on the back of each chair.
Overall, the atmosphere inside is fun and light, perfect for a group lunch or quick dinner.
Here’s what I ordered during a recent trip to Senor Taco. Other items pictured in the blog were from the people I was with.
Pico de gallo and chips – these chips are about as freshly made as it gets. This was the perfect starter to our meal!
Carnitas Pork tacos – I ordered the Mexican style/street tacos. They were seasoned well and the verde salsa gave them a nice kick!
