Fort Myers is home to dozens of Chinese food restaurants. We’ve certainly tried our fair share of Chinese food around the area over the years, but if you’re looking for something a bit more than fast-food Chinese, give Ginger Bistro a try.

Inside Ginger Bistro
I’ve probably passed Ginger Bistro a hundred times since it’s across the street from Page Field and never stepped inside. My first impression after walking in was that the restaurant was a lot bigger – and fancier – than it looks from the outside.
Inside Ginger Bistro, it’s very modernly decorated and the tables are spaced out just perfectly. There are 2 main rooms and as I mentioned above, it’s a lot larger than it looks from the outside. The atmosphere is mellow and very suitable for date night. We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t too busy or too slow – it was just right.
Ginger Bistro’s Food
The menu at Ginger Bistro is expansive to say the least – they have traditional Chinese dishes and a whole lot more. Seafood, chicken, beef, duck, noodles, and appetizers are a few items you’ll find on the menu.
They also offer Dim Sum, which is a popular item for them if you read any of their reviews on Google, TripAdvisor, etc.
What we Ordered from Ginger Bistro
During our visit, we played it safe and stuck with what we know. After all, if your favorite dishes are done well, you’ll be more likely to try something new next time!

All in all, Ginger Bistro is a great option for when you’re craving Chinese food but want something a little richer and more elevated than fast-food Chinese food.
