Hey there! We’re Mom & Pop Eats. We love local food and think you should, too.
Our names are Sean and Kristen. Sean was born in Long Island, meaning he has a special love for NY style pizza.
Kristen was born and raised right here in Fort Myers, where the only pizza she knew was Pizza Hut (sorry – I know better now).
After we got together in 2016, we realized that we both had a love of good food. We realized that most of that good food (like you’re looking-forward-to-it-all-week type of good food) comes from locally owned restaurants: the mom & pop eats.
So, Mom & Pop Eats was born. We feel that mom & pop restaurants should have more of a presence online for both the people looking for them (we know they’re there!) and for the restaurant owners to get new customers. The COVID-19 pandemic made this clearer than ever, and your favorite local restaurants need your support.
On our blog, you’ll find posts about our favorite restaurants, tips for how to support them, and tips for local restaurant owners to make the most out of the web to get more customers.
